  • Checklist of Amphibian Species and Identification Guide
    Provides a browsable "checklist of all amphibian species and subspecies currently recognized in North America north of Mexico." Salamanders, newts, frogs, and toads are briefly described in their adult phase; many entries include photos and range maps showing where a species is found. In addition, there is an annotated list of amphibian and reptile identification websites.
